I Remember!!!

I remember
those dusty lanes
kites n those paper planes
that pencil, which left
every wall autographed by me
those corners
where i used to hide
over the mistakes
which showered some chide

i remember
that school
pretty strict yet so cool
those prayers
where i used to sleep
the time in class
boring and steep
the ringing bell
and freedom from hell

i remember
the nights of exam
the only time
when i used to read
all the time parents snarled
who cared and no heed

i remember
when i fell in love
the classes
when i thought about you
all the hours
which melted like ice
coffee table in the corner
those ice creams and fried rice

i remember
the erased memory
when my love cheated
those tears,long nights
bewitched how much i was
irritation induced useless fights

i remember
the most
the moments when
i was WRONG
the mistakes on which i still wonder
a lesson to learn from every blunder
bit by bit life goes on
leaving behind a treasure
to count on, to remember!!!
