bahano aur bhaiyon
bhaiyon aur unki lugaiyon
dekho, dekho sapanon ka sansaar
neele,peele chamkeele hazaar


kahaani ka nayak ik chamkeela
ik dum stud, fir bhi akela
lakhon kudiyaan usane dekhi
har tave par roti seki
par koi na usake haath hain aayee
dil ke kamre main na roshani chaayee


par kal kismat usaki palat
haath ki lakeeren hui galat
sapane wali zameen pe aayee
chamkeele ke dil main chamkeeli chayee


lawn main chalte usako dekha
dekhkar apani aankhon ko seka
lal sweater wali dil le gayee
aur badle main gam-e-dil de gayee


par chamkeele ki kisamti chamak aayee
fair n handsome ki mehnat rang layee
jab ladkee aake thi yun muskaayee
mit gayee saari chamkeele ki tanhaayee

What do you say? ******************************** I spent almost more than an hour on deciding what to write... several things came in my mind ... my childhood,college,17-Sunrise Appt. ... My friends goyal,uddy,bebo.... Then I came across this poem from DALJIT NAGRA. I read it and liked it...But it was after an hour or so .. I tried to think about the meaning...I got my own meaning. Suddenly I became curious about what other people may interpret .. What can be be their story attached to it..... You all people read it... very few people comment ;) ... what about contributing this time....??? :) The tree my father grew from his garden I take an axe and branch by branch I break the tree and set to work the million maddened bits, the fire of night. Only ash I keep.

I generally don't read forwarded mails,but this one ( From Chachajaan AKA Ashish Gupta ) was really eye opening, so posting that here....
